As promised I am here to talk about two different make up products that I found at Winners the other day! I am actually quite excited to talk about these products because, spoiler alert, they actually worked quite well!
1. Profusion Blush & Bronzer
So first off, the packaging for this product is absolutely amazing. I love it so much. It isn’t just a plastic cover, but more of a leather material, which is so nice and different from other palettes. The writing is a shiny gold in big, bold letters which again, makes the product very appealing!
The inside: so this product comes with 2 highlighters, 2 bronzers and 4 blushes. I will warn you now there is quite a bit of kick back when using these products, but don’t let this scare you away! There is also a small mirror and three brushes that are included as well.
“Nude” – this is for lighter skin tones for sure. But it actually has pretty good pigmentation! I find these highlighters actually do look really nice and I was pleasantly surprised when you didn’t have to use too much to get it to show up
“Champagne” – this would be for darker skin tones. It is a more orange-gold highlight that also has nice pigmentation. The swatches for these products don’t deceive you!
“Light Bronze” & “Shadow Bronze” – I think these names speak for themselves in terms of what kind of skin tones they are helpful for. These bronzers can look a little muddy, so be gentle with application. But overall the wear and wear time is really nice for the product.
There are two pink tones: “Light pink” & “Coral pink”
As well as two peach tones: “Warm peach” & “Soft rose”
All of these blushes have great pigmentation, but definitely use a soft hand, similar to the bronzers.
The brushes aren’t of the greatest quality unfortunately. But if you are just starting out with make up and figuring out which brushes are for what, they are good starters for you!
2. Icon Pro Major Shadow Collection by Absolute New York
This palette is plastic on the outside and seems sturdy enough to ensure there isn’t damage. It is nice and lightweight, so travel would be convenient. As for the shadows, there is a wide variety of colors, both matte and shimmers.
The pigmentation for the shadows aren’t too bad. They require a bit of build up but considering the price, they have a good texture. The shimmers require a bit more love and even some fix plus can do the trick. Similar to above, there is quite a bit of kickback within this palette, so be aware that it can be messy.
The wear time of the shadows was great! They lasted me all night and I had zero skin irritation or any reaction at all to them.
Overall, this is a great product that I would recommend to anyone and am very happy that I have found!
If there are any products that any Canadian girls on here know of that you can find at a cheaper price, please please share! Its such a rarity so I’d love to know any tips or tricks.
Thanks for reading!!
